Dispirited: discouraged; dejected; disheartened; gloomy

Ah ah, Birdwell shows her vunerable side. So close to opening up this site, all anticipation, hope, and excitement has left me. My courage has failed. What's the point? It's a "self-indulgent" web-site...would anyone care if I opened? Self-pity. I hate it It's utterly foolish...but I can't help from wallowing in it.

But, I have come this far. Giving up now is insane.

Is my work any good? Is what I am offering of any worth to anyone? I would like to think so. But in the silence of a Sunday afternoon, I am not so sure. What the hell. For those that come: I will open this site precisely at 3.00am GMT, Monday morning. Finished or not.
