I just saw The Gladiator, awesome movie. And apparently quite popular, it was sold out most of yesterday and today. I tried to see it at Midnight...sold out. Shocker. So I saw U-571, instead. Which was a trip given the meeting I had with Matthew McConaughey a few years ago. It's insane really, but I am not talking about U-571 here or Matt. It's the Gladiator.

It's an awesome flick. A bit long narrowly missing 3 hours, but visually interesting--not only with the camera and lighting..but Russell Crowe himself. I've had my eye on that boy for years. His talent is startling, almost as much as he is. I had fun, I laughed, and I cried. I definatly recommend it,....just be prepared for a crowd.
