I will title this piece: Disillusionment.

Grin. I just got back from my day trip to Austin. Although we had fun and lot's of craic. The rose-coloured glasses were torn from my eyes. Q and I finally saw Austin for what is was...a city without a soul...a place made up form parts of Seattle, Boston, San Fran, New York, and LA...with a huge identity crisis. So many are fake...with out an identity of their own. We all gotta dress like this and go to these place cause we are supposed to be creative. There is no indivuality. I finally have no real desire to go back any more. I should listen to myself more.

Despite a dose of reality we had great fun. We saw a taxi explode on the highway...and the dork with the camera (Q) didn't think to snap a picture with the camera hanging around her neck. Flames everywhere...very cool. The potato on a fork was replaced by an eggplant on a fork...interesting....kitchy. And someone is trying to destory the lovely wonderful Hyde Park area. Fucking parking garage...grrr. A very nice young man drew us with green chalk on the side walk....all for a nickel for the bus. And then gave us a standing ovation when we got off at out stop. I tried Sucshi...din't like the seaweed, but everything else was fine...and I had a wonderful chicken teriaky (I knpow I am spelling that NOWHERE near). We didn't ge tour hair cut as we had planned, we had gotten there too late...oh well..there is always later. I picked up a nifty Matchbox 20 rare cd from Jupiter Records. (There site design sucks, but they won't listen to me....I'd do it for free man....there is no excuse for my friends to have poorly designed web sites. Men are so weird.)

That and a few other insane moments was the trip...summed up before I hit the sheets.

OH...what is IT with trucks! Jesus, fucking road hogs. Remember that accident a month and a half ago....10 more seconds and it would have happened again!! aggrieved sigh. I should set up a paypal s I can raise money to get out of Texas.
