Music, whether we acknowledge it or not, is our life blood. It is the one thing I think can transcend barriers and borders...something that connects everyone. It's a wonderful thing. I am almost obessive about it. I own more cd's than my friends put together...yet I feel that it is still not enough. My cd's and records are top 3 on my list of things to save in case of a fire. Music has opened my soul and my eyes more times than I can count. I wish I was musical myself. I can't say with total honesty that I am. I taught myself piano at 10...and I still play from time to time...I would give my left hand to sing. I would sing and make up songs all the time as I grew up...and sometimes when I am alone I'll do it again. But...I don't have the talent to subject anyone's ears to my tone deaf vocal cords. Pity.

So instead, I write and make pictures. My own contribution to the "music." In a few years have enough capital to splice all three together in such a way that would transcend the music itself.

Oh and on a side rant...I feel much better as the day ends.
