I agree with what Caz said earlier this month. I'd like the idea of appreticeship expanded further, beyond webdesign. I always have. The idea of young film makers learning their craft from established film makers has been in my head for 5 years. A patron is another wish on my list. One on one mentoring of young talents to blossom into their chosen career. For example my boy friend: he is a financial and business genius given even the pitence of $1,000 he could easily turn that around into hundreds of thousands of dollars. But because of his age and his lack of sponsership no one will give him the chance.

I've been ranting for years about the poor/expensive education systems and rubric in this country of mine. Really only the very rich or the veyr poor can even have a chance of a quality education. Scholarships and loans are hard to get if you are middle class. Too poor to pay for college out of pocket; too rich to qualify for financial assistance. Then there are those square pegs that don't fit into the "traditional" education system. Ones that bloom under a one on one relationship with their teacher. Some one that believes in their talent and abilities.
