Dark Heart

As I have said befire, I am a night person.--dyed in the wool lover of the night. I am at my peak of creatively and most at home within my skin when the sun is on the other side of the world. Now if you liok at the time on this post its nearing six am, my time, typically I am not up this early...but I've been up for a half an hour now...feeling night and fresh. J. has a theory. Maybe it just takes me longer to get up. So If I re-arrange my sleep schedule and rise at 3 or 4 am, I'll be energised during the day light hours. With this current 8-5 shite I am in now...it might be worth a try...but really who wants to rise at 3 am...which means earlier to bed. Grr.

I just need a job where I can have my night time.

Another theory to conquer this day time exhaustion is to map my sleep cycles. Typically we sleep in cycles of 2 to 3 hours. If you are awaked during a sleep cycle, even of you slept a full 8 hours, you would not wake rested. However if you wake up in between the sleep cycles, even of you have one sleep cycle worth of sleep...say 2.5 hours, you would rise completed rested and refreshed. I should try earnestly to map mine. Maybe...that will be my new years resolution.
