Yesterday I went to a diner with friends and because I needed the protein, I had a steak, medium rare. Well they bring me out a slab of raw meat that is still mooing. I asked the waitress if I could have it cooked longer...she said sure no problem...then she says, "Here medium rare means rare and medium means medium rare."

That teaches me to get a steak from a diner.
