This sounds like a good idea...of course I'm not exactly clear how it works. For instance could student's get the insurance also--if they are financing their own education. Q is having very bad luck when it comes to financing her education....she can't secure enough loans to pay for college... You see her parent's make too much for government loans and grants but her parent's also don't make enough for the other kinds of loans. Fubar.

It's bloody frustrating! I myself could only get $2,000 in loans...and that was barely enough to cover tuition...so I had to get two jobs in order to pay for books and living. I blame the financial situation for me not being able to complete college....that and not going to the right college for me...which goes back to the financial because the one I went to was the only one I could afford.

What pisses me off is now a simple B.A. is not enough any more...sigh now you need an MA. I am all for higher education...I just want affordable higher education.
