What 9-11 means to me--it's the day that J. stopped being a fugitive!!! We were finally able to afford to pay his two traffic tickets...after two years and two warrants for his arrest....the police finally threatened to arrest him at work. Now, that wouldn't be good for business...I'll tell you what it's a load off my mind. I was constantly afraid that he'd get pulled over and arrested or arrested at work or something. I don't need that kind of stress.

Afterwards wewent to Fuddrucker's....hmmmm the 2nd best hamburgers in the world. (The burgers at Dog and Ducks are oh so better....of course the really catch is the french fries...D&D are better....but Fuddrucker's has the fantastic homemade buns...but folks it really all comes down to the fries...the fries are the thing.(besides, I don't need to put A-1 on the burger's at D&D...) Anyway, Micci had his taste of onion. We gave him some raw onion from the fixings bar and he happily chomped on it after all the bread ran out. He also enjoyed the lettuce...

THEN, we went to Brindles and i had the most wonderful Hazelnut Gelato....oh my it was heavenly!! It's really neat like the Metro in Austin, very laid back, half tables and chairs half sofas....and they served coffee...it's great.

Yeah we pretty much stayed otu all day...anything to avoid the TV.

Afterwards and after we chilled at home long enough for me to get a quick nap...we headed for T&R's and played board games into the wee hours of the night....literally...we didn't get out of there till 4.30....so I am a basket case. I finally got Mic back to bed...see only 2 hours of sleep makes for a severly crabby Birdy. But here's the important part....I won at Monopoly!! Never before had I won, it was great. Course, I think there was somethng in the water, because half way into the first games (Tribond, Monopoly was second) I began licking the dice..somehow in my sleep deprived head, I saw that the dice were sticky from the sticky taffy....so I licked it clean. i don't think I'll ever live that one down.
