Relentless. That is what Michael's middle name should be. Sure, Francis goes beautifully with Michael, but Relentless is just so much more fitting. Presently he has three passions...getting into the computer (he now knows how to turn it off and on...which he typically does while I am typing a blog), getting into the TV and VCR (he now knows how to play, pause, fast forward and rewind...typically when I have popped in a video to record some show or another), and getting into the end table which I house my drinks and snacks (he now knows how to eat the chocolate and knock over my drink...typically nearly all over a craft I am working on.).

I do what I can to stop him...I carry him away to play with his toys (he comes right back....he crawls amazingly fast), I tell him no--firmly and sometimes fairly annoyed (he just smiles back at me), I even put him in "time out" which I am sure he doesn't understand at aged 10 months...but at least I can drink, blog, or watch a movie for a few undisturbed moments.

Sigh. I know that his relentless nature and curiousity will benifit him all through out his life, but gawd...it's exhausting in a pre-toddler.
