Musicals without musicians aren't musicals. This may hurt the New York economy, but Broadway and by extension New York City is defined by the art of the living and breathing orchestra. A computer cannot mimic the breadth and feeling that real instruments and their players impart to a play. People come grom all over the world to be moved by the Broadway performers...not by computers. We can get that at home.
