Okay this year I don't care about the Oscars. Last year I didn't care cause I just had a baby...my priorities had shifted. This year...it's not that it seems inappropriate e.g the war, but because of the war--it's all toned down and full of entertainers on their pretensious soap boxes. They have no clue what they are talking about and it makes it all the more absurd and insulting when they say it in their million dollar dresses and jewels.

Since I didn't get to see most of the nominated movies I was looking forward to the glamour and glitz. Now...nada...so what's the point.
