I've got VIOLETS in my backyard!! They are beautiful and smell oh so sweet. I noticed the purple burst of colour this morning in our weedy backyard...just now I went out for a closer look. They looked like violets...but did they smell like violets?? Yes...oh they smell so good. When J mows I am going to make sure he stays away from those blooms.

a bit later...Upon looking them up on line...I am not so sure now...the leaves a long and thin. What do you think?
