Not to sound like a lush...I am desperately trying to finish off my six pack of Guinness before Labor Day. I can't have alcohol 72 hours before my surgery...and since we are going to try and conceive soon after the operation (i.e. as soon as I am off the pain killers)--it is now or wait another 2 years.

Grin. J. bought me the six pack three months ago when I weaned Micci and it's taken me that long to finish 4 bottles...I am on my 5th one as we speak. So I can definately say I am not a lush.

And my Mom still wants a tatoo. Sigh. It's not that I don't support her...I do. I want her to start doing things for her. Things that make her happy and not be dependant on what others think she should do. But, if she is serious about her committment to Church...then she should really think about that tatoo issue. On the other hand...I think she really needs to express herself in this way. I see it as a form of expression that needs to be, well, expressed. It's the first step I think on a path of self acceptance. (Which is a very important principal in my book--it was the decade of repression that did her in). So the "Sigh" is a sigh of one being caught between a rock and a hard place.
