Miles and Miles Away

Escape!! Today was Q's bridal shower, Italian style. It was lot's of fun. Good food, good talk, and Q made out like a bandit (well Rob benefits well too...smirk). The shower was in Temple...about 3 hours away. Mic stayed home with J...while I spent a blissful day without worrying about the lad. Adult conversation rocks!!

I met Q's soon to be new family. But I did forget to ask her about last names...is she keeping hers...hypening, changing it to a name that is sorry Q and R. but unpronouncable...unless someone tells you the name very very slowly. Snotty yeah, but it is my blog.

I cleaned my house yesterday...beautiful...I was very good and didn't nap or slap off (much) at all. And when I get home...well...somethings looked just like they did when I begged my mom to babysit Micci. BUT, laundry got done!!! And Mic and J had lot's of fun playing together and being boys together. And really that's important. Who knows if I had been watching Mic all day, the house would still look the same as it did this evening. You get busy...folding laundry or some such and next thing you know Mic the tornado has struck.
