I love Asparagus

So recently I have been fairly gorging myself with the delightfully green spears. I blame Q. She made me love them when she put them in her Risotto years and years ago...I blame Thanksgiving for reminding me and I blame HEB for making them only $1.97 a pound.

Hmmm...I got two pounds a couple of days before Christmas and have been eating them nearly every day since then. I had planned on making them for Christmas--but everyone was too tired (meaning me and Jamey) to eat/make them...we already had the Soup--why make MORE dishes.

'Course that means more to gorge myself on for lunch.
