Parenting Mistake #572

Taking my kids to see I Am Legend.

See, I didn't realise I Am Legend was a Zombie/Vampire eating you flick with killer zombie dogs. I thought it was more along the lines of Armageddon or something: Hero saves the WORLD. (This is what the previews let me to believe-didn't know anything about it-it's a WILL SMITH movie!) So, we took my then 6 and 3 year old children to see it. When the first zombie/vamp appear my son screamed: "I knew it would be scary!! I knew it would be SCARY!!!"

Parenting Mistake #573: We stayed and watched the whole movie.

I watched that movie at home. Just me and DH. I will never recommend that movie. I was so sad at the end of the movie. It was depressing. It was not what I thought it would be.

LOL- I remember you telling that story. I hadn't seen the film at the time. While I watched it I thought of you. I can hardly believe the kids didn't freak out. I know I did and I am much more than 3 or 6 years old.
