I wonder. I dream. I hope. I believe. What makes us to so different from each other. The depths of our wonder, dreamings, hope, and beliefs? Is that what really separates us from each other. Beneath these skins we are, from a rough genetic point of view, indistinquishable--the same interconnected. Yet...our souls...our souls are so distinct and individual we might as well be alone.

We feel this isolation keenly. So we talk...we send our words through the void of the digital world...we don't care who hears it...just that is is someone. Some one that perhaps understands. I have been told what I am doing is presumptious, self-absorbed, self-important, and self-indulgent. Well, perhaps. Shrug. Does it really matter? I merely wish to be percieved. Good or bad. Although I prefer good. I've also been told I am brilliant, talented, tasteful, and inspirational. Well, perhaps. What ever floats your boat.

Derek posed a good question the other day...what is a web log. A recurring theme for the boy. I don't blame him...labels can be very occupying. That is why I steer clear of them. I journal because I need to...and blogger makes it easy. So: I blog therefore I am.
