LOL...scroll down (yes I am technoweenie, I don't know how to lead your right to the specific part of the page....care to enlighten me??) to the post from 5.17.2000 talking about U2. If you canna find it...a little cut and paste...

(have you ever noticed that when bands cut their hair, they turn into money-hungry, corporate-type pussies. the same thing happened to u2. they cut their hair and suddenly stopped writing songs that had a social message, and started playing pop bullshit.)

Smirk. Well I don't agree...but it's funny. It's not there fault...too many tequilas can do that to a man. Zip...no hair!! Bald. You know Bono had to cut his hair...he's going grey. Smirk. I love my boys...and I love poking fun at them. Self appointed pin-welding-bubble-popper. Someone that loves them...tells them the truth and pulls a few jokes out too. (You'll notice I'll refer to them as "the boys" or "my boys"...you'll get used to that.) Honestly, they may be shorn but they still have their integrity...more so than ever. I may joke on them but I am also the first to defend them (no one can be mean to them but ME...grin) I'm not going to list their great acts of integrity...(too long a list)...or their long play list of "social message" songs. They just have hidden their message into a chocolate covered easy to swallow dose. Pop was the most soulful, conscious album to date. Lot's of people though just didn't get it. So it goes.
