I barely survived this week. Friday almost came too late. Yesterday went to a Catholic wedding; first time for everything...both being at wedding and in a catholic church. No I lied I went to my mother's...but I wasn't too happy about that wedding--does it count? It got me thinking about my own....yes like many girls I have it planned out elaborately...have since I was old enough to dream it. The scene of course has changed over my many flip flops. Now it consists of rose pedals, green country side, and booths and dancing.

I still though don't get marriage. Perhaps it is my own heavily jaded view....but I see no point for me to marry. Of ocurse, as I am reminded constantly I am young....and my views will change. Yeah they most likely will, but I am trying to live in the present. And right now it's unfathomable to be given to a husband. There are too many chains and history/religion attached to this tradition. United...being one person...it once appealed to me I guess. But, I don't think that's why I need right now. I need something more concrete and solid.

Ironic isn't it that I still plan my wedding.
