It's not that you gotta settle. Find some sparkle of joy in an existence you'd rather not have. But, it's better than bitching about it. It's not as good as changing it though...BUT...(another but yes), it's something to do while you're changing it. So many people think that joy just falls in your lap. Problem is while were miserably waiting for that joy to fall out of the sky, we never see it for what it is when it does materalise.

Although the work I do is not what I want to be doing for a living, I find small joys that keep me interested and happy--while I work on becoming _________.
