Yesterday was scorching! The sun was so brutal it teared up my eyes, felt like a thousand pin pricks assaulting my eyelids. The highw as around 107 F...god knows what the heat index was! Sigh...well, it's almost over right...just one more month or so of this awful heat...then it'll slowly get cooler---to where it'll be 60 in January right???

It's now getting darker in the mornings...which makes me hate the morning even more. I should not be waking up to darkness!!

In happier news, I bought my bassonet for baba...a sweet eyelit covered basket with wheels. I also bought some baby stuff...god...baby stuff are expensive...you'd think that a creature so tiny would be able to have clothes that cost equal size. Oh well....that's what baby showers are for.
