Another year! Can you believe it? What happened to it. It speed by...and hit me hard a few times. First, my life was turned upside down (in a good way) by this new life maturing within me...then hope seemed to freeze within me when my worst fears came true September 11.

I remember perfectly that morning. I got into work as it was happening...everyone was twittering about a plane that had crashed into the world trade center. My first thought was "aww some stupid idiot drunk who can't fly his twin engine plane dented the WTC." Then when news came of what really happened...I clutched my newly round stomach with tears in my eyes wondering what kind of world my son will be born into.

I cried again today, as the radio, in it's year-in-review, replayed sounds of the towers crashing to the ground. I wondered what can we do to Osama. I thought, "I wish he could be forced to listen to the screams." But then again...his eyes would gleam in pride at being able to inflict so much damage and pain. If he is caught...I think it is best to send him back his maker...where he can't hurt any one or influence any one to hurt anyone.
