America the Beatiful has four verses...most Americans only know the first verse. My mother pointed out the last verse to me this afternoon. "Oh, beautiful for patriot dream That sees beyond the years Thine alabaster cities gleam, Undimmed by human tears! America! America ! God shed his grace on thee, And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea"

It took a hundred years for that last verse to be proven wrong.

In the paper there are ads to buy a tiny replica of the twin towers. I would never want that in my home...it would remind me of the horrors of that day...I would not see the tiny towers, but the horrific carnage. I hate seeing pictures of the New York skyline...past or present. Past: I mourn for what I know is no longer. Present: I see the hole hatred made.
