Well, my head feels much better...finally. I started feeling better last night...actually had a pain free night....yipee! Although since Micci is teething, he is waking up 2 or 3 times a night...so I didn't get a full nights sleep. But hey, I haven't had one of those in forever. "Sleep!? What's that!!"

Of course, now J's has a terrible headache and feels awful. Poor guy.

Well it seems like I have married into a rather large and slightly crazy family. All of which are extremely close. And that's really neat. I can't say that my own family is all that close. I don't know my cousins (I know one, but that's because she lives with my parents), I don't know my aunts or uncles...I see my grandparents every 5 years or so...longer sometimes. Of course J's family all live in the area..mine are scattered from the East Coast to the Culf Coast and to the West Coast. But we don't talk. I didn't know for months that my grandfather almost died of a heartattack. Hell, my grandparents haven't even sent notice that they are acknowledging Mic...and neither has my own father...SIGH. So it's really nice to have this new part of the family that is warm loving and accepts you instantly...I have had SO MUCH hugs these past few days.

Well I'll probably send a Christmas Letter to all the family this year...and maybe my father and grandparents will respond back. Especially since I gave Mic their last name. I think I'll have more time to do that than I had time to do those birth announcements.

This family thing got me thinking...why since I never hear from the Evans side of the family...they pretty much abandoned me...why was I so insistant on giving Mic my last name. Do they even deserve it, do they even care. Tonight on the way back from some Great Aunts and Uncles, I realised I gave Mic my last name so I would have a close part of my family with my name. I would create a family for my self. Although I could have taken Coffman and given that name to my son...it wasn't the same. I don't know if this makes sense to any one. I didn't want to join anyone name wise...I wanted someone to join me...become me become an Evans. It's weird I know...but by now you all should expect this sort of thing.
