I escaped the terrors of Friday the 13th unscathed. Unfortunately my Dad didn't he's going to have to find a job in a month. Fun fun. His options are: stay here, move to Albquerque, NM (at least I don't have to go), Las Cruces, NM, Virginia, Dayton, OH, or Australia, smack in the middle. I vote for Australia (they can send me my favourites from Down Under).

Of course Phil is staying here...I guess they are going ot do what J's parents did to him....(or rather how to get grown up son out of the house)....move with out him. Personally I think it's good....Phil needs to get on his own.

I hung up curtains today....all looks nice...I need one more hangy curtain thingamabob for the dining room. I am sure J will have soemthing to say...insert text here....but AH HA I am one step a head....the shelves will fit just above the curtains and it will look smashing.

So my mom said she was proud of me last night. She blamed her self for me not following in my family's choice of religion. Not that I completely abandoned the beliefs I was raised with...it's very complicated...suffice it to say I took my own path. One that I took with very serious thought. Sigh....of course she didn't hesitate yo mention a recent marriage of a church friend that gasp married within the faith. That's her choice...as far as I got...no guy in my faith wanted me...so I found someone who would. And he's even better.

I am going to miss my Mom wihile she is in New Jersey helping my grandma recover from a fall (a whole month)...she just better keep her blog up to date. I think it's ironic...she's gone the month that Dad has to somehow get a new job, fix up the house, and very possibly sell it (I think they should rent, but well no one actually listens to me---especially when I am right.)
