I haven't written a story in years (although I have tried to). I think I am afraid to. The last story I wrote (along with 2 of my best mates) was a rather long and brilliant tale about a group of friends and their exploits. When certain aspects of the story began coming true in real life, we all got spooked. Two of us stopped writing completely and the other writes essays and non-traditional short stories. I think we are afraid of writing straight forward novellas...especially if we put ourslves in them too much.

Before writing really took off, thousands of years ago, people were afraid of the written word. They were afraid of its power. IF they wrote it was inventories and never their name or any ones elses name.

Thousands of years later...three girls still fear that power. Are we crazy? AM I crazy? Do my Bekanntenkreis have any thing to say...agree or disagree?
