Miss me?? I've been hiding out (from the heat) at my parents house. Well, I got 'Arry...on Saturday. It took me 24 hours to read it (not straight mind you--I had to sleep and take care of Micci). I'm going to re-read it though...cause I read it too fast. I gulped it down without chewing. Now I need to savour it. I love the way Rowling writes. I love how her verbs are so active, driving, and descriptive. The verbs she uses practically reads the story for you.

It's J.'s birthday today. I am going to make him a cake. He's finally my age again....grin. And if any one wants to wish him birthday greetings might need to do it late tonight. He works a 12 hour shift and won't get home at a decent hour. Poor man...it's not fair that he has to work on his birthday and long shift on top of that. Well blame the short staffed department and his mean mean boss. (Smirk he is his boss and writes his schedule).

What else. I was absent for soo long. Well Kim tricked me into making pancakes. So I am blogging and keeping an eye on the stove. So far so good. AND my voice is gone. I yelled and screamed too much at the Silver Stars game on Friday. And I've been coughing and sounding froggy since.
