So I wake up at 5am this morning. J.'s alarm went off and he has to get up from work. I reset the alarm to wake me in 3 hours...we have alot to do today. We're leaving for vacation as soon as J gets out of his meeting. I lay in bed, ready to go back to sleep, when I hear this rushing sound. Rain? No. No rain. I turn off the fan and go investigate the sound. Splash, sploosh. Our tile and carpet is under a centimetre of water and that rushing sound is coming from under the kitchen. I raise the alarm and we get to work shutting down the wee pin hole leak in a tube under the sink, squedging out the water.

Sigh.

4 hours later the tile is dry and the carpet is only damp and we're waiting on the guys to come suck out the rest of the water. I called this into our insurance and they called the guys. I can't wait until they get here...I am sitting in dampness.

And seriously folks...care to donate toward our $500 deductible? Who has $500 just laying around anyway...our vacation fund isn't even that big. If you care to donate even a a few bucks...a few coins...I'd love you forever--and ever.
