It's October 1. If you didn't know. It kinda snuck up on me. I love October. In Texas it's the only month where it actually feels like Fall. And I love Fall...I love the cool, crispness, that special blue the sky gets, and the way the sun makes shadows. I wish we had the turning of the leaves here in Texas...they just get brown all of a sudden and drop off the trees with a resounding kerplunk.

And it's 30 days until Halloween...yipeee!! I bought myself a wee little cooking pumpkin and I am looking forward to eating it. I've already decided and have Micci's costume for this year...a bumble bee. But I have no idea what I'll be. This is also Mic's first year trick-or-treating. Which means, na klar, that I get to go trick or treating too!! I have soo missed trick or treating. It's been 8 years or so (I stopped at 18...smirk) The joys have having much younger siblings.

Oh and I finally feel better...only took almost a week. Stupid grass and other stupid allergen out there.
