So I caught end of this tonight. I wish I had caught it sooner. I encourage you to search around that website. It basically examines Media Today and it's less than perfect credibility. Basically it what I've been ranting about since the FCC passed that insane new law. It makes sure the average Joe blow American won't know much about this scary tidbit.

At the end of the show, Flashpoint, they asked everyone what's going to happen to the future of the "news business" (it's Bryant Gumble's quotation marks). Most we optimistic...eventually the public will come to their senses and will find alternative forms of news. Yes, it has come to that already. I get most of my news from fellow bloggers and from handy dandy news sites like the BBC and alternet.org.

But will the majority do that? That's my concern....but in the sort of society I want tto live in we must trust the majority to do the right thing cause I'd rather trust the majority than one person.
