Adventures in Potty Training

And it's not going well. Micci doesn't want to go in the potty. I have taken away the pull-ups except for night time. And he just doesn't care about soiling himself and actually seems NOT to want to use the potty. He'll wait for a moment when I am distracted to go to the bathroom in his pants, cause I watch him like a hawk. He'll want 5 hours if he has to...like he did yesterday. We've been seriously working at it for almost a week. I guess i figured that he'd get it really quick.

What's frustrating is that I know he can do it.

That's why I haven't blogged since Christmas Eve. Potty training and the bustle of the holidays.

Christmas was good. Micci got 1/3 of the Little People's universe. And more Thomas trains and some cool tracks. New Years was fun as well, we went to a co-wokers home and rung in the New Year with lot's of people I didn't know, but we very wonderful, welcoming people.

And I have New Years resolutions, I'll post them separately.

For the most part this year has been NUTS!! I feel like I am coming apart at the edges most days...especially with this potty training. I have to be SO focused on Micci it's exhausting. So if any one has advice for potty training, I'd GLADLY accept it. In fact PLEASE PLEASE give me some advice. I've figured Mic goes every 3 hours and I have tried bribing, I've tried reading him stories while he's ont he potty....he has sat for an hour on the potty when I knew he could empty his bladderm and NOTHING.
