No sugar???

So J wants to cut sugar from the family diet...and I, unfortunately, am part of the family. And I mean ZERO refined sugar...and he wants to cut carbs as well. WTF? I LIVE off of carbs...I am 95 pounds dripping wet...I have no fat to burn. I need carbs for energy!! I love potatoes and pasta!! And rice...I LOVE rice.

Granted I do eat an unbalanced amount of them...but they are cheap and easy. But ti cut our entirely...I may have to fight this. I am all for eating healthy...but a balanced healthy. Let me have my pasta. And man you'll have to tear chocolate from my dead cold fingers.

It is however, all_my_fault I was the idiot that made his annual physical, which in turn showed his cholesteral to be 212...high. AND THAT in turn made him find the book that told him that high cholesteral being bad and evil is a MYTH. And the sugar is in fact YOUR ENEMY.

The cholesteral thingy yes that makes sense, it's all a conspiracy among the drug companies to get every man women and child hooked on their drugs. Terrible studies and drug trials that no one in their right mind would follow unless they were PAID to are at the heart of this and in reality high cholesteral is needed and actually will make you live longer and the fact that lowering high cholesteral does not in fact prevent heart attacks or strokes. (Look on your bottle of your statin of choice if you want--it tells you right there.)

I support my husband in his weight loss and healthy goals and I want to be healthy to, but dammit I need my candy bar!!!
