Overtaking Sysiphus

I have been cleaning these past few days...nothing but cleaning--well some yelling. I really need to work on not yelling...bad habit I inherited.

We moved all the books from the office--no scratch that--we moved three bookshelves--there are yet more books to move. The tall book case is staying...the smaller one...may stay as well...not sure what to do with the smaller ones which are more squat pieces of furniture that happens to have a bookshelf. Anyway, Lorelei is actually getting her own room now.

It's taken three days to get my bedroom clean...and it's nearly there. Tomorrow--the rest of the house!! Ha! I figure if I chip away at it bit by bit then perhaps someday it'll be presentable. It's a complex hurry up process of cleaning while the kids are exiled outside or sleeping. Of course when they get back into everything and make a mess...it's not as bad as it was before. But that is the whole point--not as bad as it was before.
