This man NEEDS to become president

John Edwards is the man I want to be president of the United States--his focus is AMAZING! Why stop campaigning for president when his wife has only a little cancer--sure it's spreading and it's incurable, but that's okay--we'll just drown her in poison and she'll be A-okay! With this sort of single minded determination he'll be a great president!

MY GOD! Stop this insanity and go home and BE_WITH_YOUR_WIFE!! Chemo is not a walk in the park--esp. when she's facing a life time of chemo now (which I am guessing, since they can only treat it not actually cure her). Docs put a shunt in your vein as not to destroy your vein with the poison, you're warned to flush twice because your waste is TOXIC, never mind sex...wear two condoms just to make sure your mate's penis doesn't fall OFF!!

Edwards doesn't even have a snow balls chance in HELL of winning the primary anyway--esp. not after this wonderful announcement.

You said it, Birdy! And not to mention that they have two children that their time and energy should be focused on and how they are dealing with the fact that their mother may not be around for them. I think they committed polictical suicide with this decision.
