Weekend Update?

Jamey's back to working weekend again--this week he's helping opening a new department and the next 4 or 5 weeks he's filling in...and for me back to stain treating...grrr. I missed Knitting at the Library today. Sniff.

Lorelei's been sick these past few days--mysterious fever and wanting an exessive amount of cuddles. It coincides with an equally mysterious outbreak of the measles around town. A few seconds of panic and I remember both kids have their shots up to date and that Lorelei has no spots.

Despite the sickness, we went to the zoo because we promised Micci earlier this week. Lorelei wasn't on her death bed or anything so we went--just eschewing the toddler indoor play area. Mic told me earlier this week he wanted to be a zookeeper. Or animal hunter--which he means just like Steve Irwin.

Today--I've been half heartedly cleaning and knitting. I'm on the rag--so life would be perfect if I could just sleep all day.

Today was also voting day--luckily we visited during early voting--so I don't have to worry about the lines and such. Lot's of bonds up for vote and mayoral decisions. Fun fun.
