Kid Fun

This weekend the kids were full of wordy gems.

At the Craft Show Lorelei found two boys to play with--they were about one and 2 years older than her. Then, Mic joine in and Lorelei got left behind. She came back to our table in a huff. "Micci stole MY kids!!"

Jamey and I got quite a laugh out of that one. Then encouraged her to go back and play...to share the kids.

Gina, Phil's cat were keeping is pretty girl cat, with butterscotch stripes. She is also about half the size of Kittenhead. Both kids have been fascinated with her and follow her around. Yesterday Mic was staring at her on the bed and asked, "Mommy, when will Gina grow up?"

LOL. "Mic she IS full gorwn--Kittenhead is just overgrown."

Once the cats are better used to each other I'll try to take a picture of the two of them for a size comparison. GIna just seems SO delicate compared to Kittenhead...when I hold her I am afraid I'll hurt her. GIna is also more of a lap kitten than Kittenhead (who NEVER sits in a lap). She was getting real friendly with Jamey (naturally)--poor guy got all stuffed up. He's trying to make Gina feel at home, but her is way too allergic.

Both cats still hiss at each other, but L. my resident multi cat expert says that they likely won't fight it out. That's a relief--fifn't want the kids to be near a cat fight.
