A Lament to Hair

I finally fixed Lorelei's hair. After months of denial--I took the scissors and fixed Lorelei's hair--cutting it so very very short!

So I cornered the very reluctant Lorelei in the bath tub and snipped it all off while she cried, "No Mommy NO!" I can't believe I held back my own tears.

Sorry it's so blurry. At first she didn't want to have her picture taken.

And this is what her hair look like before she cut off all her hair. It was a mite messy, but I could pull it back into a pony tail and could start braiding it.

Yes I am obsessed and I need to let this hair thing go. I think now that Lorelei's hair is "fixed" (mind you she wouldn't let us fix it earlier)--I can stop obsessign so much--much to the relief of my friends.
