Dark Heart

I have a Hibiscus plant. I think it's depressed. Or maybe it's just how it is. I don't know. My plant has beautiful deep coral red blooms...big beautiful flowers that as soon as they bloom with in a day shirvel up and fall off. It's very disheartening. Especially for someone like me who is trying to keep a plant alive for the first time in her life. Well I can't totally lose heart...my Mexican Heather plant I have outside my front door is thriving (as far as I can tell) I think I need self-sufficient, independent plants.

So what happened this weekend? Do you want a chronilogical tale, a sliding good to bad or bad to good?? Or let's just make it what ever I remember first...so I supose important to irrelevant. Karma. I very very nearly got into a nother accident on Saturday going to the first picnic of the weekend. Almost to the DAY of the first one. If luck hadn't been in my corner (or is it and I am just very good at avoiding bad luck when it come crashing into me??), I would have most likely totaled Lass. Going 50 miles an hour down a major road (the speed limit was 55) and colliding with someone are not good odds of a walk away. The scenario. I was going north on said major road...I near my parents home...it's a rather new area and so the light that needs to be there...is not there...and some maroon pickup truck decides that he's king and needs to enter the intersection from the far right into my far left lane at the same time my car hsould be occupying that very space...I have the right of way by the way...sigh~~ No matter whose fault it could have been Iam sure my insurance compnay would have been pleased as punch. I am now convinced that I hate Texas and it's blasted oversized pick upntrucks. Fuck Ford!! Jesus..these pickup truck driver seem to think that they are the biggest best and only driver son the road...and since this is Texas...the mentality is...I am bigger than you so fuck off. Well...not if you hit my brand new car after my last beloved car was totaled by one of you...cause I would perosnally fuck you over. Oh if I had gotten hit...that driver would have been pulp...by my own hands. I would not have taken kindly to that misfortune. I think it's a sign, "Get out of Texas!!! San Antonio is baaaad.!" Well I knew that!

Actually Q and I are making plans to move back to Austin in a year. Yes, I know i swore never to go back without an armed guard...but I have been getting weird impluses to go back. Shrug. We shall see. Hopefully in a year, I'll have that armed guard.

I'll finish my tale when I get back form the coal mine.
