Perhaps I need a foot note to my previous post...(My comment about Moore, Sarandon and their ilk) I was talking mostly about celebrities and their using a globally live televised event to essentially demoralise our troops. You can say what ever you want...yes we have that freedom in these great United States but we should also have the decency to know when to use that freedom. As it is not appropriate to cry "fire" in a movie theatre, it is not appropriate to demoralise our president and by extension our toops in such a public arena.

In a sense I am also against the peace protsts, not because I am denying their freedom of speech but now is the time to rally behind and support our troops. Each protester in the mind of the troops is demoralising to them. They feel that they are the arms of President Bush and they believe in what they are doing.

I don't care what the real reason behind the war is...be it corporate or what, but if it ends in the removal of Saddam then go for it. Freedom is threatened if tyrants are allowed to propogate in this world. It may not be today or tomorrow but it will come if terror is allowed to flourish. And Saddam supports and propogates this terror.

You can believe that Saddam cheered when those planes crashed into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. He is a killer and he needs to be removed. That is what this war is really about.

And no I am not removing that comment--it takes alot more to offend me. And as long as you remain "polite" then you all can say what ever you want...I welcome it.
