I've been listening to my U2 Achtung Baby-era b-sides. It's amazing how Bono's voice penetrate my soul and lift me up. It's a weird familiarity I hear when I hear his voice. It's quite spastic...and unbelievable.

I also went to the Anne Rice Site just now. It's a great little site--very elegant and warm. Not typically an easy combination to bind together. I am currently on an Anne Rice binge. Just finished The Mummy book, wishing she had already written the sequel. I devoured the Mayfair series last week. Now I am drinking in the bits of the Vampire Chronicles books I own.

Her mythic Vampires are the ones I love. I never did like the Buffy-verse vamp. Too all together evil. I loved the goodness and evil in Anne's vampires. The stark contrasts that lived with in them...that tortured them. Buffy vamp where one-deminsional...except the to with a soul...even then there was only a two deminsionality to them. Well then, Buffy and her Scooby friends were the story not the vamps. Well if only I had written my Slayer Book and copywrited my scooby dance when I created them...perhaps Whedon would be paying me today.
