Hello from the mountains of Western Virginia. And so far no head aches!! Whoppee! Mostly I have been keeping one step ahead of them with painkillers...but not to many. We are having a great time. J. is relaxing and reconnecting with his family. Micci is having loads of fun with his other set of grandparents...and baby cousin Ivy. I am having fun getting to know my other family and catching up on my cable tv. Smirk.

We actually spent the first weekend up at J's parent's lakehouse in Bracey, VA. Very relaxing. Mic had lots of fun in the lake...it was very cold but he's a water baby. J caught loads of fish. I read.

It's been a great vacation. It's so neat watching Mic interact with this side of the family. He really is having a great time...and learning a lot. It almost seems that he is telling us with subtle clues when he is about to go potty. We shall see if this leads to toilet training.

I haven't been online much. We had no access to it at the lakehouse and only a dial up here. Which is not bad...but I'm on vacation. I'm doing other things. Actually I've been devising Micci's curriculum and an organsied plan of attack at improving my house keeping skills.

Unfortunately Kittenhead is not having a good vacation. He is still freaking out. Although the house we will be livable when we get home so he'll be able to come home...we may have to stay at my mom's home because of the leaks in the sink. (See my mom's blog).

Sigh, it's been real nice not having to worry about my house (or deal with it). We are on vacation and we'll deal with the house when we come home, relaxed and refreshed.
