I am feeling better than I have felt in (it seems) a long while. Maybe it's my endless viewings of the Lord of the Rings DVDs, their delicious extras, and the books. Or perhaps because I am watching Bono strut around on stage as his vivacious, lucious 28 year old self.

Actually, I think it may because I have a glimmering of creativetly back...I'm writing the first character sketch I have written in years. Gawd, has it been that long. No wonder I have felt so dark! Whatever it is I am delighting in it and hope this sketch produces a story of some merit....and interest. See I can't write a story if I loose interest int he character (well, who can, really?)

Besides all that my kitchen is finally my own again. New cabinets and counter tops...no more nasty mouldy, mildrewy smell of the flood.
