Busy busy busy

I am exhausted. But in a good way...baking, shopping, and seeing GREAT movies at 12.01 am...nothing better. Yesterday I spent all day at my mom's baking Christmas cookies. There is a reason we do this once a year...shaping and rolling, pressing dozens upon dozens of cookies is not something to be taken on lightly.

So I never got my nap in preparation of seeing the best movie ever.

Yes it is. Return of the King was awesome...the emotional toil was breath taking. I feel very fufilled and canna wait for the 60 minutes of extended scenes in the DVD next year.

I am also elated cause now I can re-read the book. See folks, if I read the book too close to seeing the movie I would have ruined the experience by comparing what was in the book and what wasn't and what comes next...and all that. I know the major plot points but my memory not being so good...the finer details escape me. But now...I am free to pick and dig and really get into it.
