Another study

I hate when some one realises a study, without actually making/revealing concrete discoveries. For example, this one. It states that children under two who watch TV are more at risk to develop ADD. Now they blame it on the fast pace images on TV.

Okay, but that tells me nothing. The study tells nothing about the content. For example...Micci will watch intermintently three hours of TV a day. All of which is PBS. (Except Boobahs and Teletubbies, which I can tell rot children's brains). It's not fast paced...it gives them entertainment, moral lesson, and learning. Mic also loves to watch certain movies...his top fave right now are Harry Potter, Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc, Dr. Suess cartoons, and Dark Crystal. Are shows like Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow and Zoom (his faves) considered detrimentally fast paced? Oh and he loves watching Basketball games...is that two fast paced?

And if we are decried for using TV to babysit our children...how else are we supposed to clean, cook and do laundry? I don't like tying my child in a harness or locking him in a play pen.
