What day is it?

I stayed the night at my parent's house...too hot to go home. But I am going home tonight. I need my own stuff, sanity, and brain. I also need to do some laundry. I'll be coming back in the afternoon when it's the hottest.

My mom walked my legs off today. I want to crawl away into a den and sleep forever. It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't go to three stores...meaning I had to be in the heat 6 times. And the last store, the mall, where spent most of our time didn't seem to be properly air conditioned...so it was no help. Argh. And I found I need better walking shoes...canvas shoes just don't cut it.

Thursday J had a day off so let's hope we can get the A/C fixed. I really have so much I want to get done...and I can't do them in a hot humid house. Heck I can barely survive in that house. The first few days back from vacation were fine....it rained and it was cooler...but each day it has gotten steadily hotter...today the heat index was 110. No way could me and Mic survived that all day. Tomorrow is forcast to be 97, but with the humidity it's gonna feel like the 100's.

I just hate this rotten luck. I suppose it could be worse. Send me some cool, icy vibes everyone.
