Overwhelmed...and then I feel better

This week has been hard. On Monday I asked my mom if having two kids gets easier. Thankfully she said yes...if she hadn't I think I would have started crying. I am not sure why but today I feel better. Maybe I slept better...that makes a HUGE difference...slept dep. combined with an active toddler and a newborn plus a messy house leaves me in pieces...frustrated, whiney pieces.

I crave adult conversation...with someone other than my husband. I also crave space and solitude. Just me...a nice leisurely evening with a book and a BIG slice of cheesecake. Heck, at this point I could deal with just Lorelei. If put her in her sling, she sleeps for hours. I just have to deal with the weight. The being pulled in all sorts of directions is wearing me out in to thin little strips.

But today I feel better. Lorelei is in her sling and Micci, bless his heart, is being very agreeable today. And all I do today is launder J's shirts...and that is all...anything else isentirely optional today. I want to relax....before I turn into a crazy person...I've been that person before and I don't wish to go there again.
