Gasp gasp here I am!!

We are trying without much success to make our house wireless. So I was without internet for nearly 2 days. If it wasn't for my knitting, I may have been bored enough to clean. Grin.

I made this yesterday.

I was tired of losing my knitting notions. So I whipped up this pouch. It holds Clickety, my row counter, cable needles, scissors, et al...whatever will fit in this thing. I got the idea from one of the gals on LSSK, but hers fit around the wrist/arm and held a cellphone. Well, I don't have a phone and I hate things on my hands/wrists, so I made a pouch for around me neck.

I also talked to my mom yesterday. My dad had talked to my Nana...apparently my Bompi (read grandfather) has the first stages of altztimers and my father (the biological one) has high blood pressure, diabetes and is MARRIED. Obviously all this is new to me. I understand telling me about the altztimers slipping through the cracks, because well the nature of the disease and how much care it involves from my Nana, but it doesn't excuse my own father NOT telling me about his Dad OR that the bastard got married and is not healthy. Sigh. Oh well, it's expected...it's not like he has a good track record staying in touch with me. Of course he's due for his pop up into my life after 5 years of no contact.

Goal of the day: Put away all the clean clothes and do some more laundry. And Tidy the bathroom.
