Accident Prone

My parent's were in the emergency room so much with my brother Craig that they joked that they should have their own coffee mug (They don't even drink coffee!) He's had innumerable stitches, broken bones, pulled this or that, concussions, severe burns....the list goes on. I think they also praised God that they werein the Air Force had access to free health care.

We have pretty good health insurance, but well it's not free. I am beginning to suspect that Lorelei (knock on wood) will be our Craig. It seems that twice a week she's running into things and putting lumps on top of lumps. At least once a week she'll ram her mouth onto something hard and bit her lip or gash her gums. She's already fractured her skull! And last night she burned herself on the oven (silly thing just put her hand on the oven door...she didn't believe me when I said it was hot and to get out!).

I don't remember Mic being this prone to injuries...of course Mic isn't a climbing enthusiast like his sister. Who now wakes me up every morning knocking a milk cup at my head...yep she's still in a crib....in the room across the house.

At least she bounces pretty well...
