Horrifying

My momma hates pit bulls. And she gave us a healthy fear of them as well. I cried as I read this story (registration required) from the Chicago Tribune. I don't think mom will be able to read this.

It's the first of a three part story about a pack of three pit bulls that mauled 6 people in one day...in just an hour or so. It's hard to read these kind of stories about kids--especially when you can hear your kids playing in the next room.

I do like that this is an in depth story--it's not just sensationalistic. It gives a bit of history where pit bulls orginated from and why. And it seems pretty even handed.
